Question of the Week: Fäboda from the residents’ perspective
This survey is part of the Fäboda project, which started in January 2025 and aims to involve residents in the region in developing the Fäboda area together. Throughout the project, we will be collecting your opinions and thoughts about Fäboda to gain a better understanding of how you want the area to be used.
Fäboda is a cherished place for many, and with an increasing number of visitors, it is important to ensure that its appeal and vitality are preserved for future generations. The goal is to create common guidelines as well as new events and activities that take the area’s unique nature into account, and promote community.
The project is carried out by Centria University of Applied Sciences and the Arctic Museum Nanoq in collaboration with the town of Jakobstad, associations, and businesses in the area, and above all, you, the residents of the region. The project is a Leader project funded by Aktion Österbotten, with additional funding from the foundations Svenska Kulturfonden and Keskitien Säätiö.
Participate and make a difference! For more information, contact Centria’s project manager Sven Söderholm (sven.soderholm@centria.fi) or project expert Linda Lindroos (linda.lindroos@centria.fi).
Please remember to respond to the survey by February 23.
