Residents’ budget is a way for the town of Jakobstad to do participatory budgeting. Participatory budgeting is a way to involve the residents in discussions, planning, and decision-making about how to use allocated tax revenues.
The town executive has allocated 20 000 euro for participatory budgeting in 2026. In this Question of the Week you can give suggestions on how the budget will be used and in a later Question of the Week you can choose between three to five alternatives.
