Registration for the autumn courses offered by Jakobstad’s Finnish-language adult education centre Työvis and Swedish-language Arbis opens today, 17 August, at 9:00 a.m. The wide range of courses is available on the institutes’ websites. A printed course catalogue was delivered to households in Jakobstad on 13 August.

During the autumn term, Työvis and Arbis offer hundreds of courses covering a variety of interests. Subjects include languages, handicrafts, physical exercise, music and cooking, ensuring that everyone can find an enjoyable hobby or learn something new.

This autumn’s programme also includes a diverse selection of swimming courses for both children and adults. The offering includes baby swimming, play-based swimming schools, and courses for both beginners learning basic swimming skills and more advanced swimmers, regardless of age or skill level.
