The new disc golf course at Svanen Camping has been completed and will be officially opened on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. The opening ceremony will take place next to the parking area of Svanen Camping.

Opening speeches will be given by the City’s Head of Sports and Wellbeing Services, Fredric Portin, and the course designer, Miro Joutsen. The City will offer participants an opening toast and light refreshments.

In connection with the opening ceremony, West Coast Disc Golfers will organize a beginner-friendly disc golf competition open to everyone at 6:00 p.m. The competition includes several divisions, and the top players in each division will receive prizes. In addition, a disc golf bag worth 149 € will be raffled among all participants. Other competitions with attractive prizes will also be held during the event. The participation fee for the competition is 5 €.

The disc golf course is already open to everyone, although some minor finishing work remains to be completed. We wish all players enjoyable exercise, successful rounds, and many pleasant moments at the new disc golf course at Svanen Camping!
